SPA 130A and SPA 230 are solar modules with ATEX Classification on Categories 2 and 3, to be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres classified for Zone 1 and Zone 2.

The cells of the panel are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and a back sheet from aluminum and polyester to provide maximum protection in the most extreme environmental conditions.

These panels have been designed for use in isolated hazardous areas where the installation of electrical mains supply is difficult.

SOLAR-ATEX-PCU

The PCU ATEX Solar Controller of MGTES is the ideal complement to the correct charge of a battery, intended for use in potentially hazardous areas with presence of flammable liquids, gases or vapours (Zone 1 and Zone 2).

This controller, of advanced design incorporates the latest loading technology and represents the maximum category in its class.

It consists on specific gauges that show the battery voltage and charging current. It has been designed to withstand the harshest marine conditions.

MGTES in partnership with MSM offers a wide range of boxes with ATEX Classification to house gelled electrolyte batteries from 60 up to 1,700 Ah. These enclosures are intended their for use in potentially hazardous areas with presence of flammable liquids, gases or vapours (Zone 1 and Zone 2).

These boxes may be delivered alone or as part of a kit that includes the solar panel support or battery charger, as well as the corresponding beacon; thus forming a complete ATEX beaconing kit.

The MCE enclosures are designed to withstand the harshest marine conditions.
